Chn Energy Changyuan Electric Power announced that the company has received the "Bid Notice" issued by the State Energy Group International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd., confirming that a consortium composed of the State Energy Group New Energy Technology Research Institute Co., Ltd. and China Electric Power Engineering Consulting Group Zhongnan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd. has been awarded the research and application project for the overall solution of frequency modulation and peak shaving supply heating safety based on molten salt energy storage for the coal-fired generating units of Guo Neng Changyuan Jingzhou Thermal Power Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of the company. The bid amount for the project is 90 million yuan. The New Energy Institute is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company's controlling shareholder, the State Energy Group, making this transaction a related party transaction for the company. Upon completion of the project, it will improve the first-stage frequency regulation and AGC performance of the Jingzhou Company's units, enhance the flexibility of heating and power generation of the units, and bring significant environmental and social benefits.
