Changsha BYD Electronics is a professional EMS (electrical components services) supplier under BYD, established in Wangcheng in 2019. On September 9, 2019, the Phase I project of Changsha BYD Electronics was officially put into operation in Wangcheng. Since its operation, the annual output value has reached hundreds of billions of yuan for five consecutive years. In 2023, the annual production of smart phones will reach 12 million units. On July 8, 2024, the Phase II project of Changsha BYD Electronics was signed at BYD's headquarters in Shenzhen. The total investment of the Phase II project is 1 billion yuan, leasing a 0.088 million square meters high-standard factory building in the 5G smart terminal industrial park, constructing a production base for high-end smart phones and other terminal products. After full production, the annual production capacity of smart terminals will increase by over 10 million units, with an annual output value exceeding 10 billion yuan.
