The head of the ideal "end-to-end" intelligent driving mass production has officially surfaced: Xia Zhongpu, with a position level of 21, reporting directly to the head of intelligent driving, Lang Xianpeng. Previously, the intelligent driving algorithm research and development department of ideal was entirely led by Jia Peng, reporting to Lang Xianpeng. After the structural adjustment, the intelligent driving team is mainly divided into three groups: Xia Zhongpu is responsible for the "end-to-end" model algorithms and implementation; Jia Peng is responsible for the world model, focusing more on technical research; Wang Jiajia is in charge of mass production development. All three departments report directly to Lang Xianpeng. Ideal autos is further betting on the next generation of end-to-end solutions and L4 level autonomous driving.
