With the approval of the State Council, the Immigration Administration of the People's Republic of China decided to implement a “one visa, multiple travel” policy for travel to Hong Kong in Shenzhen, Guangdong Province, a “one trip per week” policy for travel to Macau in Zhuhai City, Guangdong Province, and a “one visa, multiple travel” policy for Macau in the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone. Starting from December 1, 2024, residents of Shenzhen domicile registration and residence permit holders can apply for a “one visa, multiple trip” endorsement for travel to Hong Kong. They can travel to and from Hong Kong an unlimited number of times within 1 year, and stay in Hong Kong for no more than 7 days each time. Starting from January 1, 2025, registered residents of Zhuhai can apply for a “one trip a week” endorsement for a trip to Macau. They can visit Macau once and only once per week within 1 year, and stay in Macau for no more than 7 days; residents and residence permit holders of the Hengqin Guangdong-Macao Deep Cooperation Zone can apply for a “one visa, multiple trips” endorsement for a trip to Macau. They can travel to and from Macau an unlimited number of times within 1 year, and stay in Macau for no more than 7 days each time.
