On November 26, the Financial Stability Board (FSB) released the 2024 Global Systemically Important Banks (G-sibs) list. According to the list, a total of 29 banks were selected as systemically important banks in the world this time, which is the same as the 2023 list, but the bank groupings have changed, which also largely reflects changes in the bank's basic business activities. In terms of Chinese banks, five large state-owned commercial banks continue to be selected as globally systemically important banks. Four banks, Agricultural Bank, Bank of China, China Construction Bank, and Industrial and Commercial Bank, are in the second group. This is the second year that Bank of Communications has been selected as a global systemically important bank, in the first group. The five bank groupings are all in line with 2023.
