Bank of Communications announced that its Dubai International Financial Centre branch officially opened on November 27, 2024, in the Dubai International Financial Centre, UAE. This branch is the first bank institution established by the company in the Middle East and will actively serve high-level opening up, promote high-quality joint construction of the belt and road initiative concept, and contribute financial strength to building the five cooperation patterns between China and Arab countries and supporting the construction of a China-Arab community with a shared future. After the opening of the Dubai branch, the company has 24 overseas branches and representative offices globally, with 67 overseas operational outlets. As of the end of June 2024, the total assets of overseas bank institutions amounted to 1,246.721 billion yuan, accounting for 8.79% of the company's total assets.
