According to the official WeChat account of China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products on the evening of November 25, recently, the "Photovoltaic Industry Foreign Trade Enterprise Self-discipline Symposium" organized by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products was held in Beijing. Senior representatives from 22 domestic photovoltaic companies including Longi Green Energy, JinkoSolar, Trina Solar Co., Ltd., JA Solar Technology, and Shanghai Aiko Solar Energy, totaling more than 50 people, attended the meeting. In the face of increasingly intense "internal competition" and frequent trade barriers in overseas markets, Zhang Yujing, President of the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products, called for sincere cooperation among photovoltaic upstream and downstream enterprises, to strengthen self-discipline and prevent the photovoltaic industry from "overcapacity and spillover." The China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Machinery and Electronic Products stated that the participating enterprise representatives agreed with the initiative proposed by the chamber for enterprises to voluntarily maintain industry order. At the same time, they put forward expectations and ideas for subsequent improvement of differentiated export tax rebate mechanism, establishment of a blacklist and whitelist system at the government, industry organization, and banks' credit insurance levels, and strengthening credit insurance loan support for enterprises that have a reasonable, compliant, and orderly capacity layout.
