On November 21, the fifth domestically developed Xinzho 60 artificial weather modification aircraft successfully completed its maiden flight at the Huahu International Airport in Ezhou, Hubei Province. It is reported that the Xinzho 60 artificial weather modification aircraft is equipped with subsystems for atmospheric detection, catalytic operation, air-ground information, and task integration, capable of large-scale joint operations, scientific detection, and air-ground synertone communication. The effective operation area per mission reaches 9,000 square kilometers, and the longest operation time can last for 6 hours, playing an important role in hubei's agricultural drought resistance and ecological improvement.
