On November 21st, Keppel Capital announced the appointment of the CEO and CIO of Keppel Australia. Angelo Scasserra will serve as the CEO. Prior to joining Keppel Capital, he was the head of real estate private equity at Barrenjoey Capital Partners and had worked at Credit Suisse in Australia and Singapore for nearly 20 years. Rahul Bharara will take on the role of CIO. Before joining Keppel, he was a partner at Barrenjoey Capital Partners' real estate private equity. Both are expected to assume office in the first half of next year. Group COO Lin Zhuobin stated in a press release that the current asset management scale in Australia is approximately 9 billion Australian dollars and commits to reinvest an additional 1 billion Australian dollars to increase the local fund management scale.
