The first integrated utilization and compliance treatment experimental device for gas field water associated resources in my country was officially put into operation on November 21 at Petrochina's Southwest Oil & Gas Field Company Shunan Gas Mine. The first batch of qualified products including lithium carbonate, sodium bromide, sodium chloride, and potassium chloride have been produced, marking a breakthrough in my country’s field of "henry hub natural gas + associated resources." According to reports, the device is mainly used for the comprehensive utilization and compliance treatment of water associated resources in the Weiyuan Gas Field of Shunan Gas Mine, with a daily processing capacity of 100 cubic meters. It employs advanced processes and technologies including pre-treatment, lithium adsorption, and chlorine-free bromine extraction to classify and recover associated resources such as lithium, bromine, sodium, and potassium from gas field water, with advantages of high resource recovery rate and efficient stability. The products produced by this device can be widely used in metallurgy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and agriculture, among which lithium carbonate is the main raw material for new energy fund power batteries.
