The 2024 World Conference on the Development of Vocational and Technical Education opens today (the 21st) in tianjin, with over 1,200 participants from more than 100 countries and regions. The conference is themed "Innovation Empowers the Future, Skills Shape Life" and includes various sessions such as the opening ceremony, keynote speeches, ministerial roundtable discussions, and parallel meetings. More than 600 foreign guests are attending from over 100 countries and regions, including over 40 ministerial-level guests. Participants will discuss the adoption of the "Tianjin Consensus on the Development of Global Vocational Education" and simultaneously hold six parallel meetings focused on promoting high-quality development of vocational education and cultivating high-skilled talent through industry-education integration, further consolidating the consensus on the development of vocational education among countries and exploring new models for international exchange and cooperation in vocational education.
