The 2024 World Internet Conference Wuzhen Summit has officially opened. The Leading Technology Awards ceremony is one of the most anticipated agendas at the Wuzhen Summit each year. This year, the World Internet Conference awarded a total of 20 awards from the global internet sector, covering basic research, key technologies, and engineering research and development. Journalists noted that more than half of the 20 awards are related to AI, including chip technologies that support AI infrastructure, computing infrastructure, as well as AI model-based applications, AI in pharmaceuticals, humanoid robots, and more. Overall, AI emerged as the biggest winner of this year's awards. Award-winning companies or institutions include Arm, qualcomm, microsoft, baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, and UBTECH among domestic and international enterprises.
