State Grid Corporation announced today (18th) that the important energy mega pipeline in China, the China-Russia Eastern Line natural gas pipeline project, has been fully completed and entered the final preparation stage before production. The China-Russia Eastern Line natural gas pipeline is 5,111 kilometers long, starting from Heilongjiang Province's Heihe City in the north and extending south to Shanghai. Once fully connected, it will supply a stable natural gas supply of 38 billion cubic meters per year to the eastern three provinces, jing-jin-ji, the Yangtze River Delta and other regions, meeting the annual gas consumption needs of 130 million urban households.
