Deputy Representative Li Yongsha of the Ministry of Commerce attended the ministerial meeting of China and the "Digital Economy Partnership Agreement" (DEPA) during the APEC Ministerial Meeting in Lima, Peru, on the 14th. The meeting was chaired by Chile's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Economic Relations, Sanhueza. The meeting was attended by New Zealand's Minister of Trade McClay, Singapore's Minister of Trade Relations Fu Haiyan, and South Korea's Minister of Trade Negotiations Zheng Renjiao. Li Yongsha stated that since China joined the DEPA working group, China and other members have been engaging in close communication at all levels, and negotiations have made positive progress. China will actively align with DEPA rules, aiming to achieve consistency and compatibility in rules, regulations, management, and standards in areas such as e-commerce. China is willing to engage in in-depth discussions with members on key provisions, strive to reach consensus as soon as possible, and look forward to practical cooperation in the digital economy field.
