Elon Musk's feud with Sam Altman continues to escalate. In a court document, he accuses OpenAI of attempting to monopolize the generative ai market and sacrificing safety in competition to gain an advantage. Late last Thursday, Musk's lawyer wrote in an amended complaint submitted to the federal court in Oakland, California: "Microsoft and OpenAI are clearly dissatisfied with their monopoly (or near monopoly) in the generative ai field, and are now actively trying to eliminate competitors like xAI by getting investors to commit not to fund them."
