S&P Global Commodity Insights cited data from Platts Energy News that Kazakhstan's oil daily production in October was 1.22 million barrels, exceeding the OPEC+ agreement's quota of 1.203 million barrels by 0.017 million barrels. In September this year, Kazakhstan's daily production was 1.54 million barrels, falling short of the agreed quota of 1.55 million barrels by 0.01 million barrels. The Kazakh Ministry of Energy has not provided the country's oil production data for the past few months. As Kazakhstan's largest oil field, the Kashagan field underwent maintenance from October 7th to 28th and completed the maintenance ahead of schedule. The field reached full production on November 3rd. Due to the shutdown of the Kashagan field, the Ministry of Energy has adjusted its 2024 oil production forecast from the previous plan of 90.5 million tons to "over 88 million tons".
