The 12th meeting of the 14th National People's Congress Standing Committee was held on the morning of the 5th at the Great Hall of the People in Peking. The meeting listened to a special report on the administrative and business state-owned asset management situation in 2023 by Lan Foan, Minister of Finance, commissioned by the State Council. The special report introduced the overall situation of administrative and business state-owned assets, the management work situation, work effectiveness, and existing issues, proposing further measures to strengthen the management of administrative and business state-owned assets: promoting institutional building, promoting standardized management of state-owned assets; deepening revitalization and utilization to improve the efficiency of state-owned asset management; strengthening work responsibilities, promoting departmental performance and accountability; solidifying management foundations, enhancing the level of state-owned asset management; continuously strengthening the management of public infrastructure assets to improve public service efficiency.
