The State Council's State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission (SASAC) has explicitly included 'market value management' in the performance assessment of central enterprises for the first time. The China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) subsequently proposed to include market value in the evaluation system for central and state-owned enterprises. The new 'nine regulations' further standardize the criteria for market value management, requiring the formulation of market value management guidelines and the inclusion of market value management in the corporate evaluation system. The core of market value management is value creation.
