The Shanghai Municipal People's Government Office issued the "Shanghai Biomedical Enterprise International Competitiveness Enhancement Action Plan (2024-2027)", targeting the overseas market, strengthening the research and development of innovative products, and accelerating the expansion of international markets for Shanghai-produced innovative drugs and medical devices through methods such as establishing or joining international marketing networks, overseas equity licensing, international organization procurement, and aid assistance. By 2027, the city's internationalization development capabilities of biomedical enterprises will be further enhanced, with the export value of medical devices exceeding 50 billion yuan, and 2-3 companies achieving sales revenue exceeding 10 billion yuan in overseas markets.
