Global digital payment company Visa unveiled the results of its second annual 'Global Mid-Market Growth Enterprise Working Capital Index' survey at Sibos (Swift International Banking Operations Seminar) 2024 conference. According to the survey results, the usage and efficiency of working capital for global mid-sized growth enterprises have significantly improved. In 2024, 81% of the enterprises have adopted at least one working capital solution. Top companies on average saved $11 million in interest and fees, with efficiency improving by 300% year-on-year. Furthermore, over half (58%) of the top companies have enhanced their working capital ratios, reducing the cash conversion cycle by 51% and shortening accounts payable days by 28%. In this survey, Visa interviewed 1,300 Chief Financial Officers and finance executives. The executives interviewed are from 8 industries and 23 countries and regions, with these enterprises having an average annual revenue between $50 million and $1 billion.
