Technology media AppleInsider released a blog post on October 18th, reporting that Jeff Pu of haitong int'l predicted in a latest investment brief that Apple's iPhone 17 Slim will feature a 6.6-inch screen, replacing the Plus models in the current product line. Design IT House quoted Pu's view, stating that the Apple iPhone 17 Slim, as Apple's thinnest iPhone, will have a completely different design from previous versions, but he did not reveal more details. Chip The device will be powered by the A19 chip, utilizing taiwan semiconductor's 3-nanometer process, resulting in stronger performance. Memory Pu expects the device to come with 8GB of memory, lower than the 12GB of the Pro models. Material The iPhone 17 Slim will use aluminum material, making it lighter than the titanium Pro model. However, Apple needs to carefully design it to avoid bending issues. Camera The device will only have a single 48 million pixel camera on the back, and a 24 million pixel front camera supporting Face ID on the front. (IT House)
