Delta Air Lines will resume its direct flight service from Shanghai Pudong to Los Angeles in June 2025, with three flights per week. The route will be operated by an Airbus A350. Kelvin Huang, President of Delta Air Lines China, stated that Delta is committed to providing seamless air travel services for Chinese passengers traveling to destinations in the USA. In addition to the daily direct flights from Shanghai to Detroit and Seattle currently operated by Delta, Delta will better connect China and the Americas. After the reopening of the Shanghai-Los Angeles route, Delta Air Lines will operate 17 direct flights between China and the USA every week, including the current routes from Shanghai to Detroit and Seattle.
