DuPont de Nemours has filed a lawsuit with the United States International Trade Commission against Xiamen Dangsheng New Materials, Jiangsu Qingyun New Materials, and some of their affiliated companies to prevent what it believes to be infringement of its intellectual property rights. Dupont stated that it is requesting the International Trade Commission to investigate its complaint and issue a general exclusion order to prevent any infringing materials from being imported into the United States. The company is trying to prevent the import of products that allegedly infringe upon its Tyvek brand and related intellectual property rights. David Domnisch, Vice President and General Manager of Dupont's Tyvek department, said: "We are committed to fair competition, resolutely defending our rights when intellectual property rights are infringed, and will take all available enforcement options in the United States and other global jurisdictions."
