Apple has explicitly stated that Apple Intelligence will be launched in October as part of the iOS 18.1 operating system. Bloomberg's senior reporter Mark Gurman's report clearly details when this month it will be released: Monday, October 28th. This means new iPhone buyers will have to wait a few more weeks to get the most coveted components in their devices. The report mentions that Apple is rolling out slowly to ensure major bugs are eliminated and to be able to support all new traffic on its AI cloud servers. The first version of Apple Intelligence will include features such as notification summaries, with subsequent updates (such as iOS 18.2) adding integration with ChatGPT and support for Genmoji custom emojis. In March next year, iOS 18.4 will include many upgrades to the Siri digital assistant, including its ability to more accurately control applications and answer queries using personal information. Other new features introduced after iOS 18.1 include automatic email archiving in the Mail application and the Image Playground application for creating custom images.
