According to the decision of the Russian government, the Moscow State Arbitration Court has seized about 0.372 billion US dollars from the Citibank and JPMorgan accounts of the Bank of New York Mellon and JPMorgan in Russia. The Office of the Russian Prosecutor General has requested that nearly 6.3 billion rubles on the Citibank account of the Bank of New York Mellon be transferred to the ownership of the Russian Federation Savings Bank as partial compensation, with the remaining losses to be paid from the funds of JPMorgan's branch in Russia.
