The ministers of commerce of China and the US will hold a call in the near future to have an in-depth exchange of views on Sino-US economic and trade relations and economic and trade issues that both sides focus on, including restrictions on electric vehicles that all parties are generally concerned about. This call is an institutional dialogue and communication between the commercial departments of the two countries. On January 11 of this year, the Ministers of Commerce of China and the US held a call. At that time, the two sides had in-depth and practical communication on economic and trade issues of their respective concerns. The two sides also discussed the issue of the security border between China and the US in the economic and trade fields. The holding of communication between the Chinese and US ministers of commerce will help promote the steady development of Sino-US economic and trade relations and create favorable conditions for mutually beneficial cooperation between enterprises of the two countries.
