According to China Railway Construction Corporation, on the 28th, the main body of the Huaihong Xinhe Extra-Large Bridge, a key and controllable project of the Hefei-Xinyi high-speed rail construction undertaken by the China Railway 15th Bureau, was completed. According to Yang Lei, the project leader of China Railway 15th Bureau, the Huaihong Xinhe Extra-Large Bridge is 15.41 kilometers long, spanning the Huaihong Xinhe waterway, with complex geological conditions in the construction area and significant construction challenges. During the construction process, construction personnel actively promoted green technologies through reasonable organization, ensuring project efficiency and quality. The Hefei-Xinyi high-speed rail starts from Hefei City, Anhui Province, and ends at Xinyi City, Jiangsu Province, with a total length of about 324 kilometers and a design speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Once completed, it will further improve the layout of the national high-speed railroad network, playing an important role in serving the development of the Yangtze River Economic Belt and the yangtze river delta integration.
