On the evening of September 19th, goldensolar announced that its indirect wholly-owned subsidiary, Jin Yang (Quanzhou), has signed a joint venture agreement with Fujian Juxin Electrical Utilities Co., Ltd. and Longi Green Energy Technology, to jointly establish a joint venture company to produce HBC solar batteries. On September 21st, Longi Green Energy responded that the HBC project being collaborated on with goldensolar is completely different in technical process from Longi's own HPBC second generation. At the same time, Longi's own HBC technology production line is progressing normally, independent from goldensolar's technical route. Longi has already constructed a 1.5GW production line based on HPBC second generation technology, with stable monthly production reaching around 120MW, achieving the expected targets for yield and cost.
