On September 18, the European Court of Justice basically confirmed the EU's antitrust fine against US chip giant Qualcomm, which was slightly lowered from the initial 0.242 billion euros to 0.2387 billion euros (0.2655 billion US dollars). The European Commission fined Qualcomm in 2019, saying that Qualcomm sold chipsets at below-cost prices between 2009 and 2011, a practice known as predatory pricing to thwart British mobile phone software manufacturer Icera, which is now part of Nvidia.
