On September 13th, Liu Wei, IEEE Fellow, Tencent's outstanding scientist, and the person in charge of Tencent's Hybrid Big Model technology, delivered a keynote speech titled 'The Development of Generative AI and the Practice of Tencent's Hybrid Big Model' at the 2024 Bund New Media Annual Conference. Liu Wei believes that in the second half of generative AI, AI should not only synthesize language, video, and images, but also have broader applications, especially in the field of science, where AI may be able to help humans generate new material molecules and formulas. Liu Wei also believes that another trend is that the big models have mastered the key to automatic upgrade through self-play reinforcement learning. As long as the start button is pressed, it can achieve upgrade and iteration without manual intervention.
