Rhouma said, 'Our inflation expectations are still more moderate than those of the European Central Bank, with an average of 2.3% in 2024 and 2% in 2025, of which the target level will be reached in the first half of next year.' The institution predicts that the European Central Bank will further cut interest rates by 25 basis points in December of this year and by at least 100 basis points by 2025. Given the outlook, it is a realistic scenario for the European Central Bank to return more actively to the neutral interest rate.
