Blackstone Group Chief Financial Officer Michael Chae said the company's "cautiously optimistic about the soft landing," indicating that the alternative asset management company's bet on the Fed's inflation control measures will not trigger an economic recession in the USA. "A soft landing is difficult," Chae said on Wednesday at the Barclays Global Financial Services Conference. "It's quite rare historically, but our current situation looks very encouraging."
