Auto manufacturer Stellantis Group stated that it will invest over 0.406 billion US dollars in three factories in the state of Michigan, including the Sterling Heights Assembly Plant, Warren Truck Assembly Plant, and Dundee Engine Plant. Stellantis confirmed that the Sterling Heights plant will become the company's first factory in the USA to produce all-electric vehicles, the Warren Truck plant will manufacture the future electrified Jeep Wagoneer. The Dundee plant will undergo transformation to assemble, weld, and test the battery pack of the STLA platform, and to process the front and rear beams of the STLA Large, with production scheduled to begin in 2024 and 2026 respectively.
