On August 20, the European Commission made a preliminary ruling. Although we cannot agree with or accept the preliminary ruling, we still hold the utmost sincerity and hope to resolve the friction through dialogue and negotiation, seeking a mutually acceptable solution. On September 9, Deputy Minister of Commerce Li Fei and his delegation held talks with Wayne Sand of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade in Brussels, Belgium, once again expressing the hope to properly resolve China-EU trade friction through dialogue and negotiation, and to reasonably address mutual concerns. The situation of the anti-subsidy case of electric cars is complex and far-reaching, and reaching an agreement through negotiation between China and the EU presents certain challenges. However, China believes that as long as the EU demonstrates sincerity and meets halfway, mutual concerns can be addressed through negotiation. China is willing to continue to closely cooperate with the EU, striving to reach a solution that is in line with the common interests of both sides, complies with WTO rules, and promotes the healthy and stable development of China-EU economic and trade relations.
