The National Bureau of Statistics released data showing that in August, the national industrial producer prices fell by 1.8% year-on-year and 0.7% month-on-month; the industrial producer purchase prices fell by 0.8% year-on-year and 0.6% month-on-month. The average from January to August, the industrial producer prices fell by 1.9% compared to the same period last year, and the industrial producer purchase prices fell by 2.1%.
