The median estimate from a survey of 18 analysts conducted from August 8th to August 20th shows that the Nikkei index is expected to rise by 7% to 40,000 points by the end of this year, then rebound to 42,000 points by the end of June next year, and reach a record high of 42,500 points by the end of 2025. The Nikkei index closed at 37,388.62 points on Monday.
