On July 19, China Unicom announced the innovative achievements of artificial intelligence Yuanjing 2.0 and AriNet (AInet) at the partner conference. Jian Qin, general manager of China Unicom, said that Yuanjing 2.0 has demonstrated many advanced multi-modal capabilities in the industry, such as Wensheng video and controllable image generation, and has achieved the implementation results of 35+ industry models and 100+ benchmark applications. Strong computing power is needed behind the big model. China Unicom is actively helping to build an integrated computing power network, building a new generation of high-throughput, high-performance, and highly intelligent networks between national hubs and important nodes — AInet. On the one hand, it uses strong network computing to achieve super capacity and open up the “big artery” of east-west data; on the other hand, it empowers intelligence to achieve ubiquitous connectivity and build data channels from the center to the edge. China Unicom hopes to work with partners to make artificial intelligence reshape thousands of industries, benefit tens of millions of scenarios, and reach hundreds of millions of customers.
