From April 2020 to February 2021, HSBC implemented a referral program that recruited human resource institutions or recruitment companies without intermediary qualifications as introducers to recommend potential MPF corporate clients to HSBC. If the referred clients, introducers themselves or their affiliated companies participate in HSBC's MPF plan, the introducers can receive referral fees from HSBC. During the implementation of the program, HSBC signed agreements with five introducers and successfully obtained six corporate clients from three of them, until the project was suspended in February 2021. All agreements related to the program were terminated in June 2022.
