At the World Artificial Intelligence Conference in Shanghai, Alibaba Cloud CTO Zhou Jingren announced the latest developments of the Tongyi large model and Alibaba Cloud Bailian platform. On May 21 of this year, the Tongyi Qianwen series of models were greatly discounted, with the GPT-4 block orders model directly reduced by 97%, to only 0.5 yuan per million tokens. Zhou Jingren introduced that after the price reduction, a large number of customers directly called the large models on Alibaba Cloud. In the past two months, the downloaded volume of the Tongyi Qianwen open source model has doubled, exceeding 20 million times; the number of enterprise customers of the Bailian service has increased from 0.09 million to 0.23 million, an increase of more than 150%.
