Based on blockchain data, the German Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) transferred approximately $75 million worth of bitcoin in multiple transactions on July 4. These funds are distributed among exchanges including Coinbase, Kraken, and Bitstamp. Since mid-June, the German government has transferred about $0.315 billion worth of bitcoin to various platforms. It sold over $0.39 billion worth of bitcoin in less than a month. In 2013, BKA confiscated nearly 0.05 million bitcoin related to the operator of the movie piracy website Movie2K.
