The first Shanghai Summer International Consumer Festival will start on July 6th and lasts until the second weekend of October. During the Shanghai Summer, the first Shanghai International Cruise Festival will officially launch on August 2nd. At a press conference held on July 2nd by the Shanghai Municipal People's Government, Liu Min, Deputy Director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce, said that since the full resumption of the Shanghai cruise market a year ago, 126 inbound and outbound cruises have been handled at the Shanghai Cruise Port, and nearly 630,000 passengers have been received. Meanwhile, in June of last year, Shanghai issued the 'Shanghai Action Plan for Promoting High-Quality Development of the Cruise Industry (2023-2025)', proposing the 'Shanghai model' of developing a cruise 'hub port + headquarters port + manufacturing port' driven by three ports. This year, national policies supporting high-quality development of the cruise economy have been intensively introduced, and the business environment for the development of the cruise industry has been continuously optimized. During the Shanghai Summer International Consumer Festival, the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Commerce has planned and organized the first Shanghai International Cruise Festival.
