The latest release from China Index Research Institute, "China Real Estate Index System 100-City Price Index Report (June 2024)", shows that in June 2024, the average price of second-hand residences in 100 cities was 14,762 yuan/square meter, a month-on-month decrease of 0.73% and a year-on-year decrease of 6.25%. The current trend of owners promoting trade through price adjustment is evident, and the price of second-hand residences in 100 cities continues to decline. The average price of new residences in 100 cities was 16,421 yuan/square meter, a month-on-month increase of 0.15% and a year-on-year increase of 1.50%. Due to the positive impact of some cities' high-quality improvement projects entering the market, the average price of new residences in 100 cities structurally increased on a month-on-month basis.
