After the opening of the Shenzhen-Zhongshan Channel, the convenience of comprehensive transportation in the Pearl River Delta will be greatly improved, and Zhongshan will be connected to Shenzhen Airport in half an hour. The travel time from Jiangmen to Shenzhen Airport will also be shortened to one hour. Shenzhen Airport has already laid out plans to build Zhongshan Airport and Jiangmen Airport separately, and will pre-position aviation services in Zhongshan, Jiangmen, and other areas to create an efficient aviation service chain. Currently, it has already partnered with airlines such as Shenzhen Airlines and China Southern Airlines to offer special flight discounts to customers traveling from Foshan, Zhongshan and other areas on the west bank of the Pearl River Delta, and is promoting these offers through online and offline channels.
