Online chronic disease management platform, Ark Pharmacy (6086.HK), began its IPO today until next Thursday (July 4th), issuing 23.8 million shares, 10% of which will be publicly offered and 90% will be internationally placed, with an offering price per share between HKD 7.6 and 8.36, and a total fundraising amount of up to HKD 199 million. The first-hand entry fee is HKD 4,222.16 for 500 shares. The shares are expected to begin trading on July 9th. Citigroup and ABCI Capital are joint sponsors. The company plans to use approximately 67.4% of the net proceeds from the fundraising to expand its business; approximately 16% for research and development activities; approximately 11.6% for potential investments, acquisitions or strategic alliances with other stakeholders in the value chain of the online chronic disease management industry; and approximately 5% for working capital and general corporate purposes.
