According to the website of the National Energy Administration, on June 24th, the National Energy Administration and the China Power Enterprise Federation jointly released the power reliability index for 2024 in Beijing. Huang Xuening, the regulatory director of the National Energy Administration, attended the meeting and gave a speech. The power reliability index for 2023 was released at the meeting. In 2023, the average power supply reliability rate of users in the national power supply system was 99.911%, a year-on-year increase of 0.015 percentage points; the average power outage time per user was 7.83 hours/household, a year-on-year decrease of 1.27 hours/household; the average power outage frequency per user was 2.30 times/household, a year-on-year decrease of 0.31 times/household. Among them, the average power supply reliability rate of users in the national urban power grid was 99.976%, and that of the rural power grid was 99.900%.
