策略师:美国PCE数据下降可能为日元干预铺平道路

Strategist: US PCE data decline may pave the way for intervention in the yen.

Philip Wee, senior foreign exchange strategist at DBS Bank, said that the possible decline in the preferred inflation indicator PCE price index, which the Fed will release on Friday, may pave the way for the Japanese authorities to intervene in the yen. The PCE price index data is expected to continue to reflect the downward trend of CPI data. If so, the yield of the US 10-year Treasury notes may encounter resistance and fall at 4.36%. In addition, the USD/JPY is overbought on the technical chart, with the 14-day relative strength index (RSI) exceeding 70.
