On June 26th, the news conference for Air China's summer transportation and related services was held in Beijing, announcing the situation of Air China's summer transportation capacity and related services. It is reported that in response to the outbound hotspots during summer transportation, Air China plans to increase international route capacity input, including operating the Beijing-Dhaka, Chengdu-Milan routes, recommencing the Shanghai-Barcelona route, and adding 13 international routes such as Beijing-Copenhagen and Chengdu-Singapore. At that time, Air China's international and regional routes will resume to over 90% of 2019, reaching 114 routes, reaching 43 countries and regions in six continents, and expanding its route network to nearly 1,200 destinations worldwide through cooperation with member airlines of the Star Alliance. Regarding domestic hotspots, Air China will focus on increasing the input of transportation capacity in hotspot cities such as Xinjiang, Chengdu and Chongqing, Shandong, and Hainan, as well as summer resorts like Yunnan, Guizhou, Fujian, and Hailar, involving 32 airpoints and 38 routes. During the summer period, the daily number of domestic flights increased by 39.2% compared to 2019, with 1,444 flights on average.
