Beijing has issued a notice on optimizing policies and measures for the stable and healthy development of the real estate market, supporting the improvement of housing needs for families with multiple children. For families with two or more children with Beijing household registration, the purchase of a second home is regarded as the first home in personal housing loans. The notice also specifies for the first time to support families who want to exchange their old houses with new ones. In the near future, industry associations will be guided to build a platform for the three parties of developers, brokerage institutions and home buyers to connect with each other, and encourage developers and brokerage institutions to provide quality services and implement preferential measures. In other words, real estate brokerage institutions give priority to promoting the transaction of old houses for households to buy new houses. After the old house is successfully sold, the related deposit is transferred to the down payment for the new house. If it cannot be successfully sold within a certain period of time, the development enterprise will unconditionally refund the deposit.
