Currently, most of the suspended accelerator pedals of automobiles are made of engineering plastics, and their design strength meets industry standards. In order to protect the driver's safety, under specific force conditions, a fracture may occur. On June 24th this year, a NIO owner in Zhengzhou, Henan province, experienced a throttle pedal fracture while driving a NIO vehicle. The owner strongly questioned the quality of the car and pointed out that the material of the accelerator pedal is suspected to be "inferior plastic," which directly affects driving safety.
