NIO replied today (June 26th) that the ES6 with the broken accelerator pedal was a second-hand car purchased by the owner through a third party. The car had experienced a serious accident before and was declared a total loss by the insurance company. Currently, most suspended accelerator pedals in the auto industry use engineering plastics materials, and their design strength meets industry standards. To ensure driver safety, under specific load conditions, a fracture may occur.
